Patra Potali Sweda (Kizhi)

Kati Vasti
Kati Vasti is the most effective Ayurveda therapy for back pain. The term 'Kati' refers to the lower back area. In this therapy, warm medicated oil is retained in the lower back area after making a rim with black gram dough around the spine for a particular time. In Avagaham treatment, the patient is made to sit in an Avagaham tub, which is filled with warm decoction of herbs. The body is anointed with medicated oil and a plunge bath given in a tub filled with either the decoction of Vatahara leaves suitable for the patient's condition. Relieves back pain & provides muscular relaxation. For the diseases of the spinal cord, hip, and lower back. Also helpful in gynecological conditions
Cupping
